A Game of Tag

If you only knew how long it took to draw this...

This is a pic of Serna and co. when they're little kids. This silly little moment takes place roughly ten years before the actual story. Serna is the red dragon in front; Tally, Serna's best friend, is the gray one; The two dragons that are sitting are Serna and Tally's parents; The two dragons on the hill are random. The purple dragon is Neffin. He's just watching the two girls have fun since he's too shy to actually join them.
And here's the scene.

(Serna's point of view)

“Tag! You’re it!”
I squealed with laughter as Tally and I chased each other around the settlement. Seeing as we were only a few years of age, we were playing under the watchful eye of our parents who were deep in conversation nearby.
“No, no, I can’t be it!” Tally wailed as she sprinted after me. “I can’t be it ‘cause you’re it!”
I laughed again, darting away from my fleet footed friend. “You’ll never catch me!”
The two of us raced and chased each other all around the buildings of the settlement. Roofs form of tree branches arched over walls made of stone, and sometimes a precious stone or two winked from the entryways. The well beaten main road was almost smooth under paw and was perfect for playing on.
Tally growled as I continued to elude her. Knowing better than to stray too far from our parents, I swerved to head back to the brightly lit clearing.
“Ow!” Tally suddenly yelped. “My paw, oh, I think I sprained it!”
I skidded to a stop and whipped around to see my best friend limping heavily on her right fore foot.
I raced over to see the damage. “Mother,” I began to call. “Mother, Tally --”
“You’re it!” Tally screeched as she flicked me with her tail.
“Hey!” I yelped indignantly as she hared away. “That’s not fair!
“Life’s not fair,” Tally giggled as she ran. “Now it’s your turn to try and tag me!”
